Abstract

A good universities can be seen from the level of activity in the laboratory. Facilities or hardware in a lab greatly affects the level of activity that is in the laboratory. JTIF laboratory FT-Unesa play an important role in academic activities in JTIF FT-Unesa. The laboratory has a lot of equipments and need to be checked whether the equipment is still in good condition or has been damaged and when the equipment should be maintenanced. So far the recording is done manually so it needs to be made of information system for inventory items lab.

This information system is built using software engineering methods "Waterfall"
by using the PHP programming language, HTML5, CSS3, Jquery, and PostgreSQL as the
database.

Information generated by the system is able to help the chief of laboratory and
chief of department in monitoring a wide range of hardware that is in the laboratory.
