Abstract

College is an educational priority for entering the labor / industrial. Where the industrial
world today many who develop automation technology in improving the quality and
quantity of production by using machines that work in the pneumatic system. As we know
today was still a lack of instructional media pneumatic especially how to design a circuit
diagram of the work on the system pneumatic application in the world of work / industry.
This is because the high cost incurred when studying the pneumatic system if the plunge
into the industry. The research objective is to develop the science of science and
technology in various fields including education by creating instructional media systems
work first pneumatic cylinder. The method used is to design the circuit diagram first
pneumatic cylinder system work. The results of this study are effective piston force on
moving ahead of 242.85 Newton, the volume of air required for a step forward 333.63
cm3, effective piston force in step backwards for 203.99 Newton and volume of air
required in step backward, namely 280, 25 cm3
