Abstract

Lecturer portfolio is needed for the benefit of every lecturer and department. It is
required for lecturer to be a formal acknowledgment as a professional lecturer in higher
education. Furthermore, lecturer portfolio is exploited to compile a recapitulation of
lecturer  performance  and  remuneration.    However,  lecturers  of  Department  of
Informatics in State University of Surabaya experience difficulties in preparing the
necessary documents for portfolio. The reason is that lecturers did not regularly record
their activities and neatly archive their documents once they have finished their activities.
In addition, unneat activity recording and irregular portfolio data archiving lead the
difficulties for department staffs to arrange accreditation. On the other hand, for
Department of Informatics, lecturer portfolio is required by department as an important
part of accreditation assessment in department level.

This research is performed in several stages which are identifying data and system requirement for users, designing data flow in systems, and designing database.
The results of this research are data requirement specification, old system analysis results, new system design, Data Flow Diagram, and Conseptual Data Model.
