Abstract

The digital era is an era where technology and information becomes an integral part of
human life. Technological developments not only have a positive impact, but also the
negative impact. Some of the irresponsible use of technology is for personal profit. Along
with the emergence of digital crime, the cyber laws also need to be enforced. As a legal
state, Indonesia has issued a regulation in the form of an Act to regulate related to
Information and Electronic transactions or commonly called the UU ITE. Islam is a
religion which is very comprehensive. Islam does not only regulate the issue of worship
and man's relationship with God but also a guide to human life as a whole. Islam has the
solution to the problems that exist both in the field of social, legal, political, and
economic. Through this paper, the authors will strengthen alignment between UU ITE
with Islamic values contained in the Qur'an and Hadith. This alignment will prove that
Islam actually can be used as a reference to solve contemporary problems that exist
today.
