A PROTOTYPE OF DISASTER MANAGEMENT WEBSITE USING COMMUNITY-BASED ONTOLOGY

Abstract
Natural disasters or disaster caused by humans poses a threat that is always present in
the community. Responding to the growing number of disasters lately such as fire and
flood, the author proposes a prototype management against disasters using Ontology in a
web community. It included local community responders as people who reported and
officers of public services such as firefighting and BPBD. This website will provide
information to a wide variety of public servants to appropriately use the information
obtained from the local responders. The results of this research were obtained that with
ontology, the system gives the value of precicion and recall are nice to translate the
language of the user.
