AN ANALYSIS OF ANTI-FRICTION BEARING FAILURE ON HEAVY EQUIPMENT UNIT
Abstract
The purpose of this research is the development of previous studies that help assess and
analyze the damage that often occurs in the anti-friction, anti-friction bearings in heavy
equipment unit. Method of addition of vibration sensors, temperature, pressure, and
speed will be read by a microprocessor with 50uS sampling, the data from all sensor
readings will be stored by the microprocessor in the storage data storage (can use MMC
or sd card). LCD is the display view and for adjustment of all parameters is done through
the operation button 4x4. The result of the development of this tool is the time of data
collection can be done directly from the tool communicated with the system or
unplugging storage and read with Card Reader makes it easy to know the working
conditions and variable damage (at what level of pressure, temperature, vibration and
rotation).
