AN AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH BASED ON ZELIO PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER USING RENEWABLE ENERGY

Abstract

Advances in technology and the use of automated control systems have made it easy to
gain the reliability of a system. Along with the development of technology, demanded the
reliability of a system in use. For that in need of refinement of the control system, among
which the control system in use is Automatic Transfer Switch by using the Programable
Logic Controller Zelio as a control unit. For energy saving method used solarcell that
can move automatically follow the direction of the sun, as a replacement power supply
from PLN is in use to meet daily needs. This study uses PLC as a control system, where
PLC will control ATS that is by turning on solar cell automatically, when there is a
power outage.
